Sir Simon Marsden is an internationally acclaimed photographer of the fantastic and supernatural. His poetic, gothic images can be found in many important collections, including the Getty Museum in California and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. His previous books include Visions of Poe, Phantoms of the Isles, Journal of a Ghosthunter, In Ruins and Beyond the Wall. He was born in 1948 and lives with his wife and family in an old rectory on the Lincolnshire Wolds. Heather Angel is a British-based wildlife photographer who in addition to managing her own stock library - Natural Visions - has written 49 books, and writes regularly for the worldwide photographic press. Through her lectures, workshops, and writing Heather has always been an enthusiastic tutor of wildlife and nature photography. Her work has been recognised by worldwide honours and awards, including the Hood Medal from the Royal Photographic Society (1975) and Nottingham University appointed her a Special Professor in 1994. The BioCommunications Association (USA) elected her their Louis Schmidt Laureate (their highest award) for 1998. She was President of the Royal Photographic Society from 1984-1986. Our annual and hugely popular Heather Angel Wildlife & Natural History Workshops at Saint Hill Manor, West Sussex, England are now in their 10th year.

Simon Stafford is the technical editor of Nikon Owner magazine. Simon has seen his work published widely in newspapers, books, magazines, where he often writes articles to accompany his photographs, and calendars. As he says, “the buzz I get from seeing one of my pictures in print has never diminished”. He has also enjoyed numerous successes in photographic competitions, which, he enters as a way of motivating himself to produce new images. Completely self taught, with over twenty years experience of using the Nikon system, he is currently involved in many different photographic projects, including a book on the Nikon system. He tutorials on various aspects of photography have become an essential ingredient of the annual Heather Angel Workshops and have added to his growing reputation.
