8mm f/2.8 Fisheye-Nikkor AISShop OnlineMore... | EXC++ | £3,250.00 |
All-encompassing 180° fisheye coverage produces a circular image on the film; everything in front of the camera is included in the picture. Bright f/2.8 aperture makes it easy to view and focus, even in dim light. Close focusing down to 0.3m (1ft). Rapid changing of filters- 5 filters (skylight, medium yellow, dark yellow, orange, and red) are built into a revolving turret inside the lens. Truly creative pictorial effects impossible with any other type of lens; extreme barrel distortion makes lines bow in, while exaggerated perspective makes objects close to the lens very large indeed. Used in science and industry for weather and cloud observation, astronomical studies, surveillance work, and for photographing inside confined areas, such as airplane cockpits, tunnels, pipelines, heating or air conditioning conduits, etc.Lens construction- 10 elements in 8 groups, Distance scale- graduate in metres and feet from 0.3m (1ft.) to infinity (∞), Weight- 1100g, Lens case- CL-11 hard leatherette, Usable teleconverter- TC-201 or TC-14A. |

Boxed, like new with filters & paperwork. Full-frame fisheye images with an angle of view of 180° across the diagonal of the 24mm x 36mm picture format. High contrast images even at full aperture are assured because this lens is extremely well corrected for chromatic aberration. Standard equipment includes a built-in scalloped lens hood to minimize flair when shooting against the light and a set of 4 filters (skylight, orange, light amber, and light blue) which bayonet onto the back of the lens.Focal length/ Aperture- 16mm f/2.8, Lens construction-8 elements in 5 groups. The filter thread is 86mm and will accept series IX (9) filters in combination with HN-15 lens hood. It weighs 315g. In 1977 the lens was converted to AI and the first serial number was 190001. It ceased production in March 1982. |

45mm f/2.8 GN Auto Nikkor AI'dShop OnlineMore... | VG | £195.00 |
The GN Auto Nikkor is designed to simplify flash photography. As its name GN (guide number) suggests, the lens employs the guide number coupling system for automatic diaphragm adjustment. With any ordinary lens, aperture size must be adjusted for each different shooting distance with flashbulbs or non-automatic mode with an electronic flash. Aperture size for each shooting distance needs to be calculated, using the guide number equation with the flash unit that you are using if the GN Nikkor is not employed. When the GN control is disconnected, the lens acts like an ordinary compact 45mm standard lens (sometimes referred to as a “pancake” lens due to small size). By disengaging the GN coupling device, the lens can be coupled with camera exposure meters for full aperture exposure measurement. The 7-bladed polygonal diaphragm, designed to form an almost circular aperture around the most commonly used f/8 setting, reduces the effects of light diffraction to the minimum. It can be stopped down to f/32. The lens is particularly popular due to two major qualities 1) Exceptional sharpness and 2) Exceptional compactness. |

Boxed and complete. The fastest 100-105mm class lens of its time and constructed with the fewest lens elements. This lens never disappoints, offering similarly both in top class optical performance and supreme built quality. Magnification double that of a normal lens produces photographs which draw the viewer's eye to the subject. The combination of shallow depth of field and natural perspective ensures extraordinary life-like portraits. Other uses include candids, travel photography, sports, available-light photography and weddings. Released in 1981, the 105mm f/1.8 Nikkor AIS (also known as AI Nikkor 105mm f/1.8S) sold for roughly twelve years. That is quite a long time for a particular product. The lens was introduced genetically as an Ai-S native lens despite it being introduced much earlier than some of the corresponding Nikon SLR models which requires Ai-S features for their AE exposure control. For quite a long spell of time, the lens speed of f/1.8 remained the fastest Nikkor telephoto lenses between the 90mm to 105mm focal range. Other than enabling good available light photography, the extra gain of one stop lens speed also provides greater depth of field control. Focal length/Aperture: 105mm f/1.8 Distance scale: Graduated in meters and feet from from 1m (3.5 ft.) to infinity (oo) Optional accessories: Lens case- CL-15S hard leatherette, No.62 soft pouch or CP-9 plastic Weight: 580g |

The great advantage of this lens is the combination of pinpoint accurate control over focus (essential for macro photography) together with ultra-sharpness and the presence of an aperture ring to allow for use with bellows, PK-11A, PK-12, PK-13 and PN-11 rings and other accessories such as slide copy adapters (ES-1). The lens is much in demand by professionals including an Oscar nominee cinematographer and an Oscar winning cinematographic company. The Recommended Retail Price of this lens is £626.00.

105mm f/4.5 UV Nikkor AISShop OnlineMore... | NEW | £12,000.00 |
The 105mm f/4.5 UV-Nikkor is one of the rarest and most specialized lenses ever made by Nikon. It was introduced in 1985 and available to special order only. Specifically designed for UV (ultraviolet) photography and, with virtually no variation in the focus position between visible rays and UV rays, it eliminates clumsy focus adjustments. A special coating is applied to the air-to-glass surface of the lens elements to reduce reflection under UV rays. At all focused distances in every wavelength range, aberration is minimal and distortion is eliminated. Of course, ordinary photography can be performed in visible light. Lens construction: 6 elements in 6 groups, picture angle: 23º20', Distance scale: Graduated in meters and feet from 0.48m (1.57ft.) to infinity (∞), Aperture scale: f/4.5 to f/32 on both standard and aperture-direct readout scales, Reproduction ratio: Scale provided: 1:10 to 1:2, Filter size 52mm, Weight: Approx. 515g. NEW/UNCIRCULATED complete boxed outfit. Lens, Gelatin Filter Holder, special Filter, UR-2 Ring. 100% new - both very rare and very unusual. Highly sought after and extraordinary to find in this condition. |

28-45mm f/4.5 Zoom-Nikkor AIShop OnlineMore... | VG | £195.00 |
The later 1978 AI version of the first wide-angle zoom by Nikon and in fact the first wide angle zoom ever that started at a focal length of 28mm. In it’s time the 28-45 was a real sensation and a technological breakthrough. It was aimed at the professional market and was produced between 1975 and 1978 with a total production of about 20.000 lenses. This lens is sharp enough even wide open on low-res sensors. Overall image quality is good and performs well on the long or wide end. CA is a non-issue. You may find it best to stop down to f/8; however, image quality is still good stopped down below f/5,6 compared to modern kit zooms. 200-400mm f/4 IF-ED Nikkor AIS (ULTRA-RARE)Shop OnlineMore... | EXC | £1,995.00 |
Officially launched in February, 1984. To cope with many demanding action activities in particular in the context of sports and wildlife photography, this lens has a single ring for responsive focusing/zooming control which provides extra handling speed and time for picture framing and composition. This remarkable Nikkor zoom lens incorporates some of the original Nikon optical innovations such as Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass and that superlative coating which keeps ghosting and flare at bay. The use of FOUR ED glass elements in the optical design delivers crystal-clear images even when use at near maximum apertures and ensures minimized chromatic aberration while at the same time, delivering high edge-to-edge resolution throughout the focal length range . Nikon's lens coating process also improves the picture contrast and colour rendition over the entire 200-400mm zooming range. For increased convenience and flexibility, an L-shaped rotatable tripod collar with three screw-in tripod sockets helps achieve optimum balance for motor-driven photography and enables the photographer to switch quickly from horizontal to vertical format shooting. Angle of view: 12° 20’ to 6° 10’. Aperture scale: f/4-f/32. Closest focusing distance: 13.1ft. (4m). Filter thread: 122mm, Lens hood: Built-in and extension with HE-4 possible, Weight: 3.6kg. C/w with HE-lens hood and soft front lens cover. Only 448 ever made. |

*Definition: Nikon digital SLRs have either an FX or a DX sensor. The FX sensor, measuring 24x36mm, is roughly equivalent to the size of the 35mm film frame. The DX sensor is smaller, measuring 15.8x23.6mm.
DX-NIKKOR lenses are engineered and optimized for use on Nikon DX-format D-SLRs and are designed to cover the smaller image area of the DX sensor. When a DX lens is mounted on an FX-format Nikon D-SLR, the cameras DX-Crop Mode is automatically engaged, introducing a 1.5x magnification (cropping) factor.
